According to the Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Biden is “promising a better virus strategy, which would be wonderful if he had one. But the virus plan he’s pushing is little different on the substance than what the Trump Administration is already doing.”
Mr. Biden promises to “develop and deploy rapid tests with results available immediately.”
The Trump Administration has increased testing from 100K per day in March to its present level of 700K per day.
Mr. Biden says he will provide “A coordinated, country-wide, future-facing national effort to acquire, produce, and distribute PPE, test kits and machines [ventilators], lab supplies, and other critical supplies, including by fully utilizing the authorities” under the Defense Production Act.
The Trump Administration is already doing nearly all of this.
Mr. Biden says he will “Ramp up the large-scale manufacturing of as many vaccine candidates as necessary.”
The Trump Administration and private industry are already on that.
Mr. Biden says he will give schools “the resources they need to be open, safe, and effective” including writing a blank check to unions even if teachers refuse to work in classrooms.
President Trump wants more money for schools also. If they reopen.
Mr. Biden would impose a national mask mandate.
The Constitution does not give the President nor the federal government the police powers to enforce a national mask mandate on We the People.
Mr. Biden’s virus policy is not really offering any better ideas.
President Trump’s virus policy is better than his critics claim.
May God Bless and Save the United States of America —
Our Constitutional Republic !
