An excerpt from Our Constitutional Republic: Seeds of Birth – Seeds of Destruction on the responsibilities of citizenship.
Some years ago I ran upon a maxim that is applicable to our Federal Government of Corruption:
Right is RIGHT even if NOBODY is doing it. Wrong is WRONG even if EVERYONE is doing it.
The Congress needs to be placed in Quarantine so that they do not infect our Republic with anymore vile unconstitutional laws designed to destroy the Constitution they are sworn to defend “against ALL enemies foreign and domestic.” Today one of the largest threats to our Constitutional Republic is not an external enemy but the 535 men and women elected by We the People to represent us. Why? Because they choose NOT to represent the will of We the People but their own program to change our Constitutional Republic to a Welfare Socialist State. These Progressives, of both parties, choose instead to enact unconstitutional laws that they know are in violation to their oath of office. Is there within the 535 members of congress 56 members who would be willing to pledge ‘their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor’ to the preservation of our Constitutional Republic? Or, as Glenn Beck asked, “Does Sacred Honor even exist in Washington anymore?”
There are, in the Halls of Congress, corrupt self-serving progressive and liberal politicians whose only desire is to stay in power and change our nation into a tyrannical Welfare Socialist State. Their only purpose is to destroy the unalienable rights of We the People to life, liberty and property. The Constitution does NOT grant them the right to plunder our property and “redistribute wealth.” It only grants them power to protect us, We the People, in our right to life, liberty and property. Truly it was well said, “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!”
Is it any wonder that 70% of their employers, We the People, have NO faith in their ability or desire to do what is right for our Constitutional Republic and We the People ? Until they, the Congress, clean their inner vessel, “The Congress of Corruption” is NOT fit to represent We the People on Wall Street or Main Street. If they fail in this responsibility, then We the People must remove them from office and elect those who will uphold their oath of office.
I make no apology for my understanding that God caused this nation to rise and that it was by His providence that it became great. The greatest nation on earth. The beacon of hope and the bulwark of freedom for His children every where. A nation destined to “proclaim liberty throughout all the land [world] unto all the inhabitants thereof:” A nation destined throughout its history, in many conflicts and at the cost of the life’s blood of its citizens, to preserve the liberty and freedom of many nations, tongues and peoples.
I make no apology for my understanding that it was God in His infinite wisdom that raised up the Founding Fathers to establish our Constitutional Republic. It was through His divine providence and inspiration that its founding documents – The Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution – were written. It is from Him that we receive our unalienable rights to life, liberty and property. It must be understood that ALL human rights come from our Father in Heaven and NOT from earthly governments. Because if government has the power and ability to bestow human rights – government has the power to rescind those rights. From 1620 when our Pilgrim Fathers first stepped on Plymouth Rock; through the turbulent establishment of this nation; the terrible crucible of Civil War; and on into the first part of the 20th Century, this nation honored this knowledge and the God who caused it to happen.
If you agree with my premise that He established this nation, it necessarily follows then that those who would oppose His will to the destruction of this nation are in league with some other power. I will leave it to the reader to decide who or what that power is.
